Our signature blend of single-origin unfermented cacao, cinnamon, vanilla bean, and piloncillo - all sourced ethically & intentionally from small family-owned agroforestry farms in Mexico. Our founder and chief chocolatera, Ashley Ugarte, worked tirelessly and extensively to create this recipe, which pays homage to her mother and family, who hail from many parts of Mexico, including Veracruz, Mexico City, and Tamaulipas, as well as south Texas, including Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley.
